Reva Alyene Whitlock of Siloam Springs joined her Savior in heaven on March 29, 2011 at the Methodist Nursing Home in Fort Smith, AR. She was born October 5, 1925 at her family home in Siloam Springs, AR. She was a member of First Christian Church where she attended Bible studies and sang solos throughout her life. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star. As an avid horsewoman, Reva was not only a founding member of the Siloam Springs Riding Club but also their first riding club queen. She often sang the National Anthem at the rodeo, loved her Red Hat Society club, and was often a guest soloist at the Bethel Methodist Church and other organizational meetings.
Reva will lie in state at Edwards Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. She will also lie in state at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
